Ketu South Constituency is one of the most highly talked about in Ghanaians political space. It is one of the highly populated constituencies in Ghana and the in the Volta Region, the world bank of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The incumbent member of parliament for the area and Minister of Agriculture, Fiifi Kwetey who defeated the then MP, Albert Ziga at the NDC primaries after pulling 403 votes against 60 votes is being challenged by a businessman, Jim Yao Morti.

Mr. Jim Morti is a seasoned entrepreneur with about 20 years of experience in the mining, construction, and transportation sectors in Ghana and abroad.
He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of JYM Continent Investment and other subsidiaries. Mr. Jim Morti is a product of the Makere University of Uganda and currently, pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Ghana Business School.
He has a rich wealth of experience in construction, commodity/material haulage, and manufacturing; having founded a textile manufacturing company.
