Maxwell Konadu steps down as Head coach of Black Leopards

Former Nsoatreman head coach Maxwell Konadu has resigned from his role as head coach of South African club Black Leopards.

Konadu, who joined the South African club in July 2024, has stepped down as head coach, though his contract expires in June 2027.

The 52-year-old Ghanaian tendered his resignation letter on Sunday after his side lost 1-0 to Leruma United.

In 17 league matches, Maxwell Konadu won six, lost six and drew five. He conceded 21 goals and scored 20.

The Black Leopards are lying in the 10th position of the league with 23 points. He was tasked to qualify the team to the South African Premier Soccer League.

Durban City FC are currently leading the Division One League with 34 points.
