The summer transfer window is heating up with top European clubs preparing major moves. From Manchester United’s big-money targets to Liverpool’s hunt for a new striker, here’s a round-up of the latest transfer news:

Manchester United are preparing a huge €100m (£85m) bid for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde. The Red Devils are also keeping close tabs on Udinese striker Lorenzo Lucca, who is valued at £25m.

In another development, Virgil van Dijk’s agents have reportedly offered him to Real Madrid amid contract uncertainties at Liverpool. However, the Spanish giants have rejected the chance to sign the Dutch defender.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are pushing hard to sign Lille striker Jonathan David on a free transfer. Talks have already started with the Canada international.

Crystal Palace have set a minimum price of £60m for star player Eberechi Eze, who is wanted by both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

In a surprise move, Wolves are considering a deal for Jadon Sancho, who may return to Manchester United after a difficult loan at Chelsea.

Tottenham, despite strong interest from AC Milan and Napoli, are determined to keep hold of Dejan Kulusevski.

Liverpool could be on alert as Newcastle’s talks with striker Alexander Isak over a new contract have stalled.

In defense, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are all eyeing Udinese centre-back Oumar Solet, with bids expected to start around €30m (£25.5m).

Leeds United are exploring replacements for goalkeeper Illan Meslier and have shown interest in Liverpool’s Caoimhin Kelleher and Chelsea’s Djordje Petrovic.

Manchester City are hoping to sign highly-rated PSG striker Mahamadou Sangare, whose contract runs out this summer.

Coaching changes might also be on the way, with Antonio Conte tipped to replace Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid if the Italian departs.

Real Sociedad are considering a move for Arda Guler, who has struggled for game time at Real Madrid.

Liverpool are tracking Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez, especially as they prepare for the potential exit of Harvey Elliott.

Aston Villa are plotting a move to beat Premier League rivals to Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

Finally, Bournemouth, Brentford, Crystal Palace, West Ham and Wolves are all watching Sem Steijn of Twente, a 23-year-old midfielder enjoying a breakthrough season.
