I Make Ghc 35,000 Every Friday Night Playing Shatta Wale Songs – Bar Owner

Ghana-based Liberian Bar Operator, Johnson Makwe, says, he makes a whopping Ghc 35,000 every Friday night playing Shatta Wale’s Songs, Fnnewsonline.com has learnt.

Mr. Johnson Makwe is the owner and operator of ‘Goodtimes Spot’ located in Buduburam- Kasoa has confessed making more money in Ghana from his bar especially on Fridays when he treats his customers [ads1]with back to back tracks by Shatta Wale.

According to him, Shatta Wale has indirectly helped him increase sales in a very short time, hence, his decision to use this interview to express his gratitude to the King of Dancehall in Africa.

He said;

“In fact, Shatta Wale is a blessing to us all… We Liberians just love this guy. Can you imagine that I could make up to GHc 35,000 every other Friday just playing Shatta Wale’s songs?”

He continued;

“When we are not playing Shatta Wale’s tracks, we lose customers and these same customers come when the DJ starts to play his songs back to back.”

When asked if he makes all the money from selling just drinks to his customers, he said no.

“Actually, Liberians are good fans of Shatta Wale and a customer will just pay big money for me to repeat or play his songs.”

Buduburam is a refugee camp located 44 kilometers (27 mi) west of Accra, Ghana.
