Mahama names Elizabeth Adjare Minister for Trade & Agribusiness, Opare Addo for Youth Develpment

President John Dramani Mahama has announced another set of ministerial nominees to help him achieve his vision in resetting the country as proposed before the 2024 general elections.

Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare the Member of Parliament for the Techiman North has been nominated to head the Ministry for Trade and Agribusiness. She is to promote agribusiness as a key driver of economic growth.

NDC National Youth Organizer George Opare Addo has been nominated for the Ministry for Youth Development and Empowerment. Opare Addo is channel out programs that will address unemployment and foster innovation among Ghana’s young population.

The other key nominations are, Governs Kwame Agbodza for Roads and Highways Ministry, Haruna Iddrisu, designated to lead the Education Ministry and in the agriculture sector, Eric Opoku nominated as the Minister for Food and Agriculture.

Emelia Arthur is nominated as the minister designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture, whiles Ahmed Ibrahim has been nominated as Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs.
