Ghanaian actress and filmmaker Lydia Forson has taken a swipe at some TikTok influencers for turning the platform into a hub of conflict and unnecessary drama.

In a heartfelt post, Lydia reflected on the earlier days of TikTok, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, when users focused on dancing, lip-syncing, and spreading positive vibes.

“When we were all here, even before COVID and during COVID, it was so much fun. Just dancing, lip-syncing, and enjoying good vibes,” she recalled.

She didn’t hold back in her criticism, accusing some creators of ruining the once joyful space. “You don’t like good things… but you woke up one day and said, ‘Let me come and destroy it,’” Lydia said in frustration.

Her comments have sparked fresh conversation online about the changing tone of Ghanaian TikTok content.
