SUBJECT: “Philibert Selorm Fummey Calls for Peaceful End to Chieftaincy Dispute in Adoagyiri”
➖➖➖➖➖➖
In light and attention of the ongoing Chieftaincy dispute that has taken root in Adoagyiri in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency, I am deeply concerned about the potential toll and ramifications it may have on the long shared unity and togetherness we hold dear as a constituency.
As a steward of development and progress, I earnestly call on all parties involved to find a common ground and place the pursuit of harmony and unity as a priority to end the dispute.

The historical importance of chieftaincy in the tapestry of our society cannot be trivialized. Nonetheless, it is essential that we establish a steadfast commitment which advocates for peaceful resolutions to curb such disputes and promote peace and the harmonious atmosphere of our communities. I call solemnly on all stakeholders to engage in a resolute discourse to find a common ground that resolves the dispute and also respect the culture and traditions of the community and also advance an environment of mutual understanding.

It is important also to recognize the importance of democratic institutions in upholding peace in our society. I extend a call to action to the Member of Parliament of Nsawam-Adoagyiri, the Municipal Chief Executive of Nsawam-Adoagyiri and our dedicated security forces, urging them to hold unto their responsibility in ensuring peace and order in these trying times.

We must not forget our common goals of growth and success, which can only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace and unity. I invite all parties to adopt dialogue, patience, and a willingness to compromise. Together, we can demonstrate our community’s strength and become an example of successful conflict resolution for others to follow.

Let’s stand together, rising above our differences, and uphold the values that have been the foundation of our constituency for generations beyond count.

Signed

Philibert Selorm Fummey Amenorpe
[NDC Parliamentary Candidate, Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency]
