According to Mr Leslie Mensah, the kind gesture is geared towards the victory of the NDC in both the parliamentary and presidential elections. Anything but a convincing victory for John Mahama will not be a happy story.

Mr Tamakloe donated a whopping GH₵10,000.00 to the Parliamentary Candidate of the NDC in the area, Lawyer James Enu to support him and the party in the ongoing voter registration processes.

Mr Tamakloe, a resident of the Tema West Constituency extended his humanitarian gesture to the NDC Candidate to aid him in providing transport fares to potential registrants who are travelling from far distances to the EC’s office to replace their voter ID Cards.

The NDC stalwart made the donation at the Parliamentary Candidate’s office in Community 5. He took the opportunity to call on every member of the party especially, businessmen and women within the constituency to get involved in supporting the party to win the seat.

Also, Mr Tamakloe advised the candidate and the Constituency executives to form 3-member campaign teams to engage in house-to-house campaign exercises. He said doing that would help the party close the gap between the NDC and the NPP in the parliamentary elections.

He also charged the candidate and the executives to propagate John Mahama’s 24-hour economy message to the constituents. Mr Tamakloe advised that the campaign teams should break the 24-hour economy message as the power of 3, which means 3 shifts to allow businesses to employ more people.

He cited the various ports and harbours as places that would absorb more people, create more value and support the economy when the policy is implemented. According to him, a 24-hour economy would create more jobs for Ghanaians.

Lawyer James Enu who received the donation expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Leslie Mensah Tamakloe for the kindness

He pledged to liaise with the Constituency executives to embark on the house-to-house campaign to win the seat for the NDC in this year’s election.
