The beneficiary schools include the Pantang Methodist Basic School, Oyarifa Presby Basic School, Ayi Mensah Basic School, Danfa Methodist Basic School, Madina Fire Amour, and Umar Budu Hatab in Madina West.

Speaking briefly to the media, Lawyer Sosu made it clear that education was very key on his agenda for Madina and hence the gesture. He recounts how education changed his life from a street child to a celebrated Human Rights and Public interest Lawyer. He added that as part of his Educational plans for the municipality, he will replace all black boards in the public schools with white marker boards and frequently supply the schools with markers for ease of teaching. He also said he will establish an Educational Scholarship Scheme for needy but brilliant students. “For the motivation and encouragement of the teacher, I shall introduce a special Annual Teacher’s Awards Scheme for teachers within the municipality as well” ~ Lawyer Sosu

Both teachers and pupils showed appreciation to Lawyer Sosu for the kind gesture and wished him well in his aspiration to represent the Constituency in parliament.

The Municipal Director of Education Madam Angela Nkansah Frempomaa also commended Lawyer Sosu for his effort and advised that others would emulate his good example.
