Ghanaian sensational model and the second runner-up of Miss Kanekalon 2018 held in Lagos-Nigeria, Miss Laura Mills is in Lome the capital of Togo for a Kanekalon initiated project.
In an interview with Awake ShowBiz from her base in Lome confirmed being on Kanekalon mission in the Francophone country and will spend some few days.
She is expected to have a series of photo shoots and events for a continental magazine.
Laura Mills is one of the twenty contestants the 2018 edition of Miss Kanekalon whose grand finale took place on the 14th of July, 2018 at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, Nigeria.
Five of the twenty contestants in the finale were Ghanaians and Miss Laura Mills, who was declared the second runner-up, represented Ghana excellently by going the farthest in the keenly contested pageant.
The fresh graduate from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), before the pageant, believed and still believes in giving back to the community through her NGO, Laura Mills Initiatives – an educational support project. The organization aims to give educational support to schools in rural communities and empower youths to take on leadership roles in the community.
