Kwesi Appiah names 23-man squad for Nations Cup Qualifier against Kenya

Black Stars coach, James Kwesi Appiah has announced his 23-man squad for the 2019 Nations Cup clash against the Harambee Stars of Kenya.

Surprisingly, he has left out captain Asamoah Gyan and his deputy, Andre Dede Ayew out of the squad.

He has, however, given a maiden call-up to striker William Owusu who plays in Antwerp, Belgium.

Kwadwo Asamoah also makes a return to the team after a long absence.

The Black Stars team will commence camping in Adis Ababa, Ethiopia from the 3rd   to the 7th of September, 2018.
