The Vice President, Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has been confirmed to be in optimal health, currently taking a brief respite in the United Kingdom, as announced by Minister of State in charge of Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu.
In a televised interview on Channel One TV, Kwakye Ofosu provided unequivocal assurance of her well-being, stating, “She is presently in good health and taking a short rest as advised by her medical team, with an anticipated return to her official duties in the near future.”
He further disclosed that she is presently residing in the UK.
This confirmation follows a period of speculation surrounding her absence from recent public appearances.
However, government officials, including Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, have consistently provided reassurances regarding her health, attributing her rest to medical counsel.
