Okraku, who recently secured an unopposed election to the CAF Executive Committee in March, now rises higher within the continental football leadership.

His nomination by Dr Motsepe was unanimously endorsed by the CAF Executive Committee during its meeting in Accra.

Kurt Okraku joins Morocco’s Faouzi Lekjaa, who steps in as First Vice President, replacing Senegal FA President Augustine Senghor.

DR Congo’s Bestine Kazadi Ditabala makes history as the Fourth Vice President, becoming a symbol of CAF’s renewed commitment to gender equality and inclusivity.

Mozambique’s Feizal Sidat, named as Fifth Vice President, brings a wealth of experience from his tenure as head of the Mozambican Football Federation, ensuring strong representation for Southern Africa.
