Founder and President of the Atta Mills Institute, Koku Anyidoho has reaffirmed his commitment to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), rejecting claims that he has distanced himself from the party. He insists that despite past controversies, he remains an active and loyal member.
In a conversation with Blakk Rasta, Anyidoho made it clear that he never left the NDC. He argued that his suspension was not handled properly, stating that the then-General Secretary acted unfairly by sidelining him without following the right procedures.
He emphasized that he was neither given a fair hearing nor officially notified of any decision against him.
Although excluded from party activities, he maintains that his loyalty has never wavered. While he acknowledges having opinions that may differ from those of the party leadership, he believes that disagreement does not equate to disloyalty.
Responding to claims that he has been hostile towards former President John Mahama, Anyidoho denied ever attacking or disrespecting him.
He accused certain individuals of twisting facts to fit their personal agendas and create division within the party.
On the subject of reconciliation, he expressed his willingness to engage in dialogue but insisted that those responsible for his suspension should take responsibility for their actions.
He believes that any effort to mend relations should come from those who unfairly pushed him aside
