As marriages of football stars and other top successful executives in the sports industry keep falling apart, many often attribute them to unfaithfulness, abuse and lack of attention.

However, there is an exception and that is surely a story you’d always pinch yourself to be sure it was not told in a dream. Ex-Brazil star, Kaka, was divorced in 2015 by his wife Caroline Celico. However, about a decade later, the weird reason for the divorce came to light.

Nearly a decade since their marriage hit the rocks, the former Evangelical pastor at the Reborn in Christ Church, Caroline Celico, revealed why she left Kaka. According to the singer cum socialite, her ex-husband was ‘too perfect’.

She explained that the former footballer gave her too much peace and never would allow a fight happen between them. Adding that Kaka was too perfect and good to her. The Ex-wife said “Kaka never betrayed me, he treated me well, he gave me a wonderful family, but I was not happy, something was missing. The problem was, he was too perfect for me”

In a marriage that lasted ten years and produced two children, one would think their reason for separation would have been something really worth it. But well, that was what was the problem in their marriage and good enough to tear their home apart.

Kaka is one of the only nine players to have won the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League and Ballon d’Or.

But the one question everyone who ask after hearing this news is, what do women really want in life?
