The opposition National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawso West Wougon Constituency, John Dumelo is project to win the Parliamentary seat for the NDC.
The actor is wrestling with the ruling New Patriotic Party’s incumbent Member of Parliament, Lydia Seyram Alhassan who first won the seat in the infamous 2019 Ayawaso West Wougon By-election when her then husband, Emmanuel Boakye Kyremanteng died.
John Dumelo faced her in the 2020 Parliamentary election but lost to her in a close contest.
