Isaac Kwadwo Ampong, known in the gospel music scene as Great Ampong, has expressed his willingness to personally seek forgiveness from former President John Dramani Mahama.

While he recently released a song titled “Apology,” Ampong revealed that he is ready to take further steps and personally apologize if the opportunity presents itself.

During an interview, Ampong shared that although his song might reach the President, he would be open to meeting him face-to-face.

He mentioned that proper protocol would need to be followed for such an interaction, as rushing to the Jubilee House unannounced wouldn’t be wise.

He also referenced the actions of his colleague, Shatta Wale, who knelt down to apologize to President Mahama ahead of the 2024 elections. Ampong made it clear that he would not hesitate to follow suit if the opportunity arises.

“If the Lord permits, I won’t hesitate to go and apologize to President Mahama one-on-one, even if it means kneeling down. I wouldn’t be the first person to do so,” Ampong stated during his conversation with Amansan Krakye on Property FM.
