The National Democratic Congress flagbearer President John Dramani Mahama is the second person to appear on the ballot papers for the 2020 elections.
At the top is the NPP followed by the newly formed party, Ghana Union movement (Gum). This is the positioning of the ballot papers

The deputy Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Peter Otokunor explained that the party picking the second position is a sign of God speaking to Ghanaians to go back for former President John Dramani Mahama for the betterment of the country. He concluded with this “We expected Number 2 and we have gotten it, on January 7, 2021, we are swearing in John Mahama into office as the next President of Ghana”. This got the NDC family happy and beaming with joy as they say it is the second of the nation saviour president John Dramani Mahama of the NDC.
