Former president John Dramani Mahama will today Wednesday the 14th of October 2020 begin a five days campaign tour of the central region.
The former president who doubles as the flagbearer of the main opposition party, National Democratic Congress will today start to solicite for votes from the central region as the December 7th elections are almost here with Ghanaians. His campaign tour will start from Gomoa East, where he will also undertake a courtesy call on all the traditional leaders in the area and other places of his tour.
A release from the NDC’s central regional secretariat on the 13th of October 2020 from their regional chairman Hon. EKT Addo (ESQ) that was signed by the regional communication director Hon. Kwesi Dawood indicated the 2020 Flagbearer of the NDC is expected to campaign in the Gomoa East, Agona West, Gomoa Central, Gomoa West, Cape Coast South, Abura/Asebu/Kwamankese, Ekumfi, Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam, Assin North, Assin Central, Assin South, Upper Denkyira East, Upper Denkyira West, Cape Coast North, Awutu Senya East, Agona East and Komenda/Edina/Eguafo/Abirem Constituencies. President John Dramani Mahama will also touch base in the Mfantseman Constituency briefly for a commiseration visit.
The flagbearer will interact with the rank and file of the NDC and the citizenry in the Region. While in the Region, the Flagbearer will also highlight provisions of the NDC’s manifesto, dubbed “People’s Manifesto: Jobs and Prosperity for All,” to fishermen, fishmongers, canoe owners, market women, hawkers, commercial drivers, small scale miners, identifiable groups and to interact with some communities and canvass support for himself and the party’s Parliamentary Candidates in the upcoming general elections.
The former president will then address the good people of Central Region on Elmina based BENYA 105.7fm which will also be synchronized on Assin Fosu based Rich 98.7fm, Twifo Praso based Sweet 106.5fm, Cape Coast based Cape 93.3fm, Winneba based Nyce 90.7fm, Cape Coast based Live 107.5fm, Agona Swedru based Obrempong 91.7fm, Kasoa based Pink 96.9fm, Cape Coast based Darling 90.9fm, Dunkwa On Offin based Radio Visa 88.5fm, Cape Coast based Obrapa 106.9fm, Mankessim based Coastal 94.9fm, Dunkwa On Offin based Spark 103.5fm, Winneba based Radio Peace 88.9fm, Breman Asikuma based Hope 99.9fm, Mankessim based Obrumankoma 100.7fm, Assin Fosu based Habaa Radio/TV, Agona Swedru based Golden Star 89.3fm and Cape Coast based Kastle 90.3fm.
