[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he funeral ceremony of the late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama has brought some peace between former President John Mahama and Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia.

The funeral was well-attended by dignitaries from all walks of life in Ghana including some ordinary citizens.

Late Maxwell Mahama who was a nephew of former president John Dramani Mahama, was killed by some residents of Denkyira-Obuasi.

Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana, was part of the government officials who attended the state burial of the military officer.

In a tribute by government, read by the vice presidents, the slain officer was described as “a soldier’s soldier” who “laid down his life for the people he serves”.

The Vice President proceeded to comfort John Mahama as he gave his condolences to members of the Mahama family.

The photo of the two just showed that they have united.
