John Boadu, NPP General Secretary (Ag)

Although the Electoral Commission (EC) is yet to release its certified results of the internal elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), some provisional results released so far indicate that both John Boadu and Sammy Awuku have won the positions they were vying for with landslide margins.

John Boadu, the outgoing National Organiser who has also been Acting as the General Secretary of the elephant family for the past two years polled 4,277 votes ahead of his only contender for the General Secretary position, Richard Ahiagba who garnered 1,274 votes.

National Organiser

That of the National Organiser position saw Sammy Awuku polling an overwhelming 4,913 votes to complete his smooth transition from the National Youth Organiser role.

His contenders in the race, Suleimana A. Sadik and Emmanuel Kodua polled 466 and 142 votes respectively.
