The displayed portrait of the ex-president has forced Ghanaian social media users to question the Chief Army Officer where his loyalty lies as Ghana now has newly sworn-in President on January 7, 2028.

President John Dramani Mahama has elected as the 6th President of the 4th Republic on December 7, 2024 where there was a clear one month transitional period.
