Jane Naana engages with CSOs, assures John Mahama will lead an inclusive government

Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on May 13, 2024, engaged with some selected civil society organizations as part of the party’s efforts to disseminate its inclusive government message.

According to the 2024 NDC Vice Presidential candidate, the party wants the next administration to include all Ghanaians. She said the party wants an all-inclusive government to accelerate political cohesion and development in the country.

“As part of ensuring inclusivity in the next NDC government, as the Vice Presidential Candidate of the NDC, acting on behalf of the next President of Ghana, HE John Mahama, I had a frank engagement with the CSOs”

She said the CSOs, numbering about 36 sought an audience with John Mahama to present ideas and recommendations on how local philanthropy can catalyze sustainable development in Ghana.

Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang praised the ideas of the CSOs, labelling them as critical for national development.

Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang assured them of John Mahama’s resolve and commitment to working with them as always.

She pointed out the constant desire of John Dramani Mahama to engage with the populace, regardless of their social standing or other differentiations, to build the Ghana desired by all.

Some of the CSOs that attended the meeting were STAR-Ghana Foundation (STAR-Ghana) and West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACS) for Social Policy.
