The Director of Public Affairs at Parliament of Ghana, Kate Addo blocks an NDC communicator on Facebook over a mere correction.
The maverick communicator, Elikem Kotoko who sought to correct and cure the mismatch of words used in a communique issued by Kate Addo on the election of the speaker of parliament on 7th, January 2021 has ended up being blocked by Kate Addo.
In the release, the Director indicated that the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumani Kingsford Bagbin was selected instead of elected, this mischief caused the communication maestro to write on his Facebook wall correcting and questioning why she did that.
“Hello Kate Addo,
Are you deliberately feeding the public with the supposed agenda of some folks?
The Speaker of Parliament, was ELECTED and not SELECTED as you will want to put out there. Whatever mischief intent informed this is flawed
You cannot be blind to the process we all witnessed yesterday
Just be professional, objective and fair, we don’t require your neutrality which we won’t get
I hope the Speaker takes note of this and asks the right questions because it boils on the integrity of the position he was rightfully elected to”.
“Thank you”. Elikem wrote.
This massage did not orger well with the Director, so she quickly blocked him and afterwards posted a massage warning every follower of hers and other social media users not to say anything to her on the election.
