The 2020 Vice Presidential Candidate of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Naana Jane Opuku-Agyemang has said she is glad that late President Mills’ vision for establishing UHAS lives on.

In a Facebook post, the former Education Minister has commended Dr. Anarfi Asamoa-Baah, Presidential Coordinator GoG COVID-19 Response and former Deputy Director-General, World Health Organisation for the erudite presentation during 5th Leadership Lecture Series in memory of Prof. John Evans Atta Mills as proudly organized by the University of Health and Allied Sciences.

She has since called on Ghanaians to “continue to be inspired by Prof. John Evans Atta Mills’ legacy of integrity, sacrifice, belief in the youth and love for the nation.”

I was in Ho yesterday to attend the 5th Leadership Lecture Series in memory of Prof. John Evans Atta Mills as proudly organized by the University of Health and Allied Sciences.

This year’s lecture was on the topic: “The Nexus of Politics, Power, People and Partnerships in Promoting Good Health.

I wish to commend Dr. Anarfi Asamoa-Baah, Presidential Coordinator GoG COVID-19 Response and former Deputy Director-General, World Health Organisation for the erudite presentation.

I am glad that Prof. Mills’ vision for establishing UHAS lives on. We are all proud of the university’s accomplishments particularly during the search for COVID-19 solutions.

Let us all continue to be inspired by Prof. John Evans Atta Mills’ legacy of integrity, sacrifice, belief in the youth and love for nation.
