The Parliamentary Candidate of the opposition Nationa Democratic Congress (NDC) for Adentan Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mohammed Adamu Ramadan has said he will use his MP’s car loan to buy a grader for the constituency to help in working on bad roads in the constituency instead of buying Toyota Landcruiser (V8).

According to him, he is aware some roads in the constituency are bad and need constant reshaping. He said whiles advocating as a Member of Parliament for the road to be done, the grader will be made available to lessen the burden of residents who live in areas that are yet to get attention to their roads.

According to a post made by investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni on his Facebook page, Mr. Adamu Ramadan “said he was mindful of where he was making the promise — a church– and asked his constituents to hold him to it.”

Mr. Ramadan who lost marginally to the NPP’s Mr. Yaw Boaben Asamoah is hopeful of reclaiming the Adentan seat for the NDC. In the last 2016 election, Mr. Boaben Asamoah pulled 33,952 of the total votes representing 50.64% whiles Mr. Ramadan had 32,588 representing 48.61% of the total votes.
