One of the financiers of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Volta Region, Oscar Yao Doe has served notice on this facebook page that he will no longer support President Akufo-Addo in the 2020 Presidential election.
In a series of posts sighted by Awake News, Mr. Doe said he will no longer be a member of the News Patriotic Party and support Akufo-Addo who he has since 2007 support “with heart and soul, prayers and massive financial support in (millions of dollars).
He has, however, said he has not regretted supporting the NPP and President Akufo-Addo and will continue to pray for him as the president of Ghana.
“I’ve no regret to support him. It was the right thing to do. I’m proud to do so unconditionally.” – He said
Mr. Doe said his decision to defect to the “great NDC” has to do with the fact that “President Akufo-Addo, has supervised the worse crucifixion of business owners in Ghana, all of whom are Ghanaians: Dr. Kofi Amoah, Kofi Amoabeng, Dr. Duffour family, Dr. Nduom family, Ato Essien, The Awauh Darko family, Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie etc the list is tall”
According to him, that is not what the NPP he has been with for two decades stands for.
He also noted that “the Akufo-Addo government should have been more diverse because diversity is a strength, but rather it became narrow and limited to only the cousins and close friends on the big decision making for Ghana, this attitude is not the typical NPP tradition that I know over 2 decades which is more business-friendly”

GREETINGS! LET ME ANSWER ALL THE NUMEROUS QUESTIONS: THE REASONS WHY I AM LEANING TOWARDS THE “NDC” IS BEYOND 2020/2024!!!
1. I HAVE NO REGRET TO SUPPORT PREZ AKUFO ADDO BECAUSE IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO WITH CONVICTION.
2. I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR EVERY PRESIDENT OF GHANA INCLUDING PREZ AKUFO ADDO AND THEIR FAMILY.
3.THE AKUFO ADDO GOVERNMENT WAS ANTICIPATED WAY BACK FOR GREATNESS, AND CONTINUATION OF PREZ KUFFUOR’S GOLDEN AGE OF BUSINESS ERA FROM EARLY 2001 IMMEDIATELY PRESIDENT KUFFUOR WAS SWORN IN.
4.PREZ AKUFO ADDO ADMINISTRATION WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE MOST BUSINESS FRIENDLY , HELP GHANAIAN BUSINESSES WHICH ARE HAVING CHALLENGES TO SAFETY.
5. THE AKUFO ADDO GOVERNMENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE DIVERSE BECAUSE DIVERSITY IS STRENGTH, BUT RATHER IT BECAME NARROW AND LIMITED TO ONLY COUSINS AND CLOSE FRIENDS ON BIG DECISION MAKING FOR GHANA, THIS ATTITUDE IS NOT THE TYPICAL NPP TRADITION THAT I KNOW OVER 2 DECADE WHICH IS MORE BUSINESS FRIENDLY.
6. PREZ AKUFO ADDO HAS SUPERVISED THE WORSE CRUCIFIXION OF BUSINESS OWNERS IN GHANA, ALL OF WHOM ARE GHANAIANS: DR KOFI AMOAH, KOFI AMOABENG, DR DUFFOUR FAMILY, DR NDUOM FAMILY, ATO ESSIEN, THE AWUAH DARKO FAMILY, GIFTY AFENYI-DADZIE, ETC THE LIST IS TALL.
I WILL RESPECTFULLY GIVE MORE DETAILS DURING MY OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT TO ENDORSE THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS, THE GREAT “NDC” PARTY FOR ELECTION 2020/2024/2028/2032 AND BEYOND.
