An accused person in the dragging ambulance trial, Richard Jakpa has threatened to expose the Attorney-General Godfred Dame Yeboah if he dares him. Richard Jakpa fiercely threatened to leak the Attorney-General’s continuous attempts to have him implicate the first accused person, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson.
This was after Justice Afia Serwah Asare-Botwe cautioned the accused to give direct answers and stop evading questions during cross-examination by Ato Forson’s lawyers.
In response, Richard Jakpa began to openly respond to the questions but that triggered a reaction from the Attorney General who accused him of defending the first accused person, Cassiel Ato Forson.
That reaction provoked the accused person and he threatened to expose the Attorney-General. He said the Attorney-General has been contacting him at odd hours to persuade him to implicate Cassiel Ato Forson.
“The A-G has on several occasions engaged me at odd hours to help him make a case against A1 and I have evidence. If he pushes me, I will open the Pandora’s box. I don’t understand why the A-G will accuse me of defending A1 when I’m here to defend myself, ” Richard Jakpa said in open court.
“If he pushes me, I’ll open the Pandora’s box. I have evidence to all this,” he stated.
