A known serial caller and activist of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kwaku Appiah popularly known as Appiah Stadium has said he is happy founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Dr Mensa Otabil is in trouble over the collapse of the Capital Bank by the Bank of Ghana.
He said Dr. Otabil’s role in the collapse of the defunct Capital Bank as Board chairman indicates how wicked he [Otabil] is.
Pastor Mensa Otabil has broken silence on the controversies in his role he played in the collapse of Capital Bank as Board Chairman.
In a statement signed and issued on Tuesday, he said during his non-executive role as a Board Chairman of the bank, some decisions that were made turned out well while some did not turn out as well as had been anticipated.
But Appiah Stadium speaking on Kumasi-based Gye Nyame FM said it’s payback time for Dr. Otabil’s integrity for criticising former president John Mahama and the NDC.
He said “I am excited he is in trouble. It is my prayer that his woes deepen so that he will have a feeling if his own dose of what he meted out to my father, former president Mahama.
I am really very excited. God is a God of Justice and he created us all equal so if you paint a picture as if someone else is of the devil and you are from God, He will teach you that his love for his children is equal. He is not selective so may Mensah Otabil’s woes deepen.”
