The North Tongu Member of Parliament (MP), Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has questioned how Ejisu has gotten 32 road projects ahead of the by-election slated for April 30, 2024.
Ejisu constituency has seen a spike in developmental projects including roads since the demise of its MP, John Kumah which necessitated a by-election.
Okudzeto Ablakwa expressed surprise at the speed with which those projects sprung up. He bemoaned the unfair distribution of state resources and the abuse of incumbency in the lead-up to elections.
“Ghana needs a new paradigm on the equitable distribution of national taxpayer projects and an end to the naked abuse of incumbency during by-elections”.
Attached are the documents detailing the number of road projects Ejisu Constituency has benefitted from ahead of the by-election.
