Ayman Ben Mohamed has traveled an unusual path to reach the current spot in his football career. He took birth in London and grew up in Dublin before moving to Africa. The 24-year-old left-back might play for Tunisia, but he still remembers his Irish roots to this day.  His side recently faced a 3-0 defeat against Al Ain in the Fifa Club World Cup, but that hasn’t battered his spirits.  If you are into online betting with Mybet Partner Code, you might want to know more about his inspirational story. The Story of Ayman Ben Mohamed

Ben Mohamed says that he isn’t 100% Tunisian- he had an Irish mother and grew up in Ireland, and he is proud of that. He added that he considers himself Irish even though he represents Tunisia and is proud of that.

Ben was raised far away from the Tunisian capital where he settled in 2016. He had to face a challenging time growing up playing in the League of Ireland before he moved to the capital. Ben commented that he knew about Esperance when he was in Ireland as his dad was a supporter of the team. He had interest in Tunisian football from the beginning which might have inspired his spot in the team.

Mohamed made his way to the headlines by helping his team win the match against Egypt’s Al Ahly in the finals of African Champions League. Esperance was trailing by 3-1, but Mohamed worked his magic to pull his team through a win of 4-3.

The passion for football has been instilled in Mohamed since his childhood when he used to play in the streets with his friends. His talents were soon noticed and he made it into the under-14 school team as a 12-year-old. They went on to win the local Leinster Cup and made it to the national finals.

Ben joined the first team for the League of Ireland when he was only 17 years old. He started with University College Dublin and went for Longford Town after three years. Later he joined the Bohemians, who were acclaimed as 11-times champions. But still, it was a long way off from making it to the top teams of Irish football.

But Ben got lucky when he was studying in college and playing for the Bohemians. He got a call from Tunisia FA who said they had their eyes on him for some time and wanted him to join the national side. Ben knew that was his moment and didn’t think twice before jumping on the offer!

His international stature led his way into Esperance. The beginning wasn’t easy as he faced a different culture with a different style of football. He also suffered from injuries, but slowly he has been adapting the journey from Irish football to the African champions. It’s a long way ahead for him! He is one star that you need to look forward to.
