A Non-Governmental Organization, Heroes Pitch joins the world to celebrate the International Women’s Day, on the theme “Better the balance, better the world #BalanceforBetter”.
International Women’s Day is a worldwide event that celebrates women’s achievements – from the political to the social – while calling for gender equality. It has been observed since the early 1900s and is now recognized each year on March 8 (today).
Herose Pitch which is a Female group with the mission to build women to have a great voice in the society, celebrate women around the world today,
Speaking to the media in Accra today, President of the organization, Josephine Darling Issah is calling on the general public to help build a gender-balanced world. “Everyone has a part to play all the time “, she added.
“It’s not just about diversity as a strategy or having an environment of inclusion, it’s about creating a culture of belonging, that anybody can walk into the workplace and feel comfortable”.
She advised women to dare themselves to go the extra mile where women previously fear to go and to pursue their own personal aspirations and ambitions despite the odds.
“Every woman is the stakeholder of her life; foundations have strong Pillars because we believe it is a focus for better agenda. Bring the woman in you and enjoy the Day with Heroes pitch. For we celebrate every woman in this world”.

Girls should be educated to the highest level or any good apprentiship training that would make them accountable and to become responsible citizens in society and to also have a say in national issues rather than for society to shove them into the scrappedheep .
Women must also matter to contribute in nation building.
