Ghanaian R&B and afro-fusion star Gyakie, born Jackline Acheampong, has confirmed she is currently single.
Speaking on TV3’s The Afternoon Show on May 28, 2025, the Rent Free singer addressed her relationship status plainly: “I am single.”
Gyakie also announced her upcoming album titled After Midnight, which she says holds the answers fans are looking for about her love life.
“My love life is in the album. The answer to that question is in After Midnight,” she hinted.
She recently released a single, Sankofa, on May 23, as a teaser for the album.
Despite her fame, Gyakie also expressed her down-to-earth nature, saying she wouldn’t mind using public transport like trotro, even with potential public attention.
“Maybe it will be very loud and all, but I don’t mind sitting in trotro to go somewhere. I will sit in trotro 100%,” she said.
