The Greater Accra Regional Women Organizer hopeful, Lucy Rio Debbie has said her ultimate aim is to work with the grassroot of the party to ensure for the NDC in 2020.
Speaking to Awake News immediately after her vetting on the 1st of August, 2018, the calm, confident and cheerful Lucy Rio Sebbie pledges to work assiduously with all especially the constituency women organisers, branch women organisers, TEIN WOCOMS etc to ensure a victory for NDC at the polls in 2020.
Lucy Rio Sebbie who have been working with the grassroot in various capacities such Two Term Branch Secretary, Polling Agent Trainer, Two Term Constituency Communications officer, Secretary, Regional Communications Caucus among others for more than a decade is bringing many years of experience to bare.
A former student of University of Professional Studies and Methodist University College, Lucy Rio Sebbie appreciates modern dynamics of politics and she is bringing on board new ideas to unify and galvanize the efforts of the women’s wing in the region.
On her vision for the women’s wing, Lucy envisions a Greater Accra Regional Women’s Wing where every woman regardless of her age has the desire, the right, the empowerment and the confidence to participate in achieving Victory 2020.
Her mission entails empowering and rejuvenating the Women’s Wing for Victory 2020.
In her value statement, Lucy Rio Sebbie believes in the power of women to mobilize, work and recapture power from the jaws of the incompetent clueless substandard administration of Nana Addo’s led government
Her thematic areas in shaping the face of the women’s wing includes Empowerment & Skill Training, Extensive Grassroot Mobilization And Branch Parenting, Financial & Logistical Support Scheme,
Integrating TEIN ladies into branch and constituency level mobilization & campaigning etc
She was accompanied by her husband Mr Baidoo aka Bronx former M.C.E of Ashaiman.
