According to the PROTAYA President, Koriwie Haruna A. Muah in a statement copied Awake News, “Government has placed practical preference on other sector workers but has intentionally ignored Teachers and pretending to love education.”

He is also with the view that “Teachers are the major stakeholders in education since they are the final implementer of the educational policies, but looking at happenings in this country, nothing shows that the government has respect for Teachers.”

“Mr. President, Teachers haven’t committed any offense by sacrificing for mother Ghana, therefore they need better treatment in this country under your watch.” – he added

PROTAYA, therefore, needs to answer the following questions:
1) Why Did you deceive the head Teachers concerning the payment of the Capitation grant, last academic year?
2) Why did you allow head Teachers to go for loans to print exams papers but refused to pay them the agreed money you Promised them but instead , paid Ghc2.50p across-the-board?
3) Why did you give Teachers insulting and disgraceful meals at the just ended curriculum workshop?
4) If you are not aware of that meal, what are you going to do to those placed in charge who did that to Teachers?
5) Why did you refused to pay Teachers a better T&T package for travelling from their various homes during their vacation to the training centres?
6) Why did you refused to pay the insulting Ghc100 T&T and allowance to Teachers at the end of their Training but decided to pay them only Ghc50?
7) When are you paying the money to the Teachers since majority rejected the insulting Ghc50?
8) Don’t you think paying Ghc500 to the teachers for spending their vacation and a full week up and down to that workshop won’t even be nothing?
9) Would you agree with me that the new curriculum has failed on arrival since the teacher motivation in it has failed poorly?
10). Do you know that a Government that believe in Teacher first will never pay Teachers that insulting money?
