Gov’t extends validity of Ghanaian Passports to 10 years

The Government of Ghana has extended the validity of ordinary passport booklets for Ghanaian citizens from five to 10 years.

The extension according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs takes effect March 31, 2019.

“The processing fees remain the same until further notice,” the letter signed by the Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Mohammed Habibu Tijani and addressed to Ghanaian Missions abroad stated.
