The streets of Accra today experience one of the most well attended and massive demonstrations that have hit this current Akufo-Addo led NPP administration.

The demonstration which started and ended peacefully saw thousands of Ghanaians from all walks of life including head porters (Kayayos) flag in red with placards with various messages.

The demonstration which the organizers, Coalition for Social Justice say is to echo the hardship, job losses, insecurity, intimidation and harassment of journalists among others had many groups joining including the opposition National Democratic Congress.

Some Ghanaians are of the view that the massive pre-endorsement for the demonstration forced President Akufo-Addo to take a “by-force” one week leave where he jets off to Ethiopia and now in France.

Leaders of the protest had a better one of sending their messages, they sat on the street as some sealed their mouth with blasters.
