2017 Ghana’s Most Beautiful will go down into the History of Ghana as one that has been characterized with fraud and corrupt acts that needs serious investigation.
The fraud started when none of the two finalist who were shortlisted in Upper West Region Sonia and Mavis were selected to join the national contest but rather one Shegufta Numbo who wasn’t even part of the audition emerged the winner of the Upper West Regional contest. What [ads1]a miracle! How on earth could this happen?
And no wonder she was first to be evicted from the national contest.
ADOM our Brong Ahafo rep is known for her hard work, consistency and weekly improvement in all her assignments and from the judges themselves she has been the best so far.
But last week’s eviction shows how bias the judges of this year’s GMB have been from day one
They have succeeded in evicting ADOM so that the Ultimate price could go to the highest bidder.
Year after year Brong Ahafo Reps have been subjected to same inhumane treatment by the GMB judges especially when the applause are high for our reps in the contest.
But this year has been worse and we the Youths of Brong Ahafo have come to realization that the GMB orgnizers have made up their mind not allow anyone from Brong Ahafo Region to win the crown hence the deliberate eviction of ADOM from the contest on Sunday.
We hereby demand the Judges of GMB 2017 to show the whole world their basis for evicting ADOM our Brong Ahafo Rep from the contest if not we the youths in the region shall resolve that as from next year there won’t be any rep from Brong Ahafo to join the GMB contest.
We also would like the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Arts to call the organisers to order as well as investigate how Numbo the Upper West Regional representative for GMB 2017managed to find her way into the contest without going through the audition and the exact reason behind ADOM’s eviction.
We also humbly ask Nananom especially the Paramount Chief Of Dormaa Traditional Area Osiade3y) Nana Agyeman Badu and other opinion leaders in the region to intervene for the truth in this particular matter to come to bare.
We are taking this step because TV3 and GMB organisers cannot continue to take Brong Ahafo for granted.
We also would like to congratulate ADOM for making the Region very proud.
The world knows she was unfairly treated and we promise her we the youths in the Region are solidly behind her and we shall not rest until the truth come out in this particular matter.
ADOM will forever be our hero and the best performer in GMB 2017.
