The immediate past National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, H.E Alhaji Said Sinare on Monday, accused the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) of inflicting abject poverty on Ghanaians making the country the capital city of poverty.
Addressing hundreds of Muslim youths over the weekend, he also said that the nearly eight years of the Npp government brought nothing but joblessness, economic hardship, and insecurity to the people of Ghana.
Charging the youths to campaign in their various houses for the return of John Dramani Mahama-led NDC government, the outspoken former ambassador to Saudi Arabia noted that Ghana under the leadership of Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia’s government has been difficult, especially having to deal with the dreaded economic misery imposed on the Ghanaian people due to their over-borrowing and reckless spending of the state resources.
According to him, the country at this juncture needs the services of experienced John Dramani Mahama.
He said everyone needs to imbibe the spirit of the NDC to heal everything that is broken in the country under the leadership of President Nana Addo.
“The party that came with lies to get people to vote for them has created so much poverty that today Ghana is the capital city of poverty in the world,” Alhaji Said Sinare stated.
He promised that the former president, John Dramani Mahama knows the problems of the country and would resolve them if given the opportunity again to rule this country.
