Ghana hosts the WAFU Zone B U-17 tournament on May 15th in Accra

The games will be played at the University of Ghana stadium. There seven countries that will participate in the tournament are Ghana, Nigeria, Cote d’lvoire, Burkina Faso, Benin and Togo.

In opening game Ghana will face Côte d’Ivoire. The two nations that will qualify for the final will automatically secure qualification for the AFCON U17 next year.

Coach of the Ghana side Learye Kingston says his side are well prepared.

“Now the most important tournament is coming up. We are working and no one is stepping off the treadmill. We are on the treadmill because we have a mission” he said.
