The MoU would see both countries complement each other on agricultural related issues like exchange of experts in research and policy areas.

Ghana’s Agricultural Minister, Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto mentioned that the signing of the MoU was a follow up to the recent visit of Nana Akufo-Addo to Equatorial Guinea.

He said the quick response to the agreement testified that Ghana and Equatorial Guinea had a good bilateral relationship and added that Ghana would continue to take advantage of the relationship.
