The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the appointment of Kim Lars Bjorkegren as the new Head Coach of the senior women’s national team, (the Black Queens).

In a press release issued on Tuesday, 14, January, 2025 the GFA announced Kim Lars as the replacement of Nora Häuptle and expressed confidence in Kim Lars and his technical team.

to bring the necessary expertise and experience to lead the Black Queens to success in upcoming international competitions.

Kim Lars Bjorkegren, will be assisted by two Coaches Charles Sampson and Anita Wiredu.

Other appointment to the management of the Black Queens are, Nassamu Yakubu appointed as the Goalkeepers Coach and Enoch Jordan Daitey serving as the Athletic Coach.

Drucilia Arthur is appointed as the Welfare Manager. Patience Nana A. Quarshie and Adwoa Bayor have been appointed as Equipment Officers.

Ronnie Bergdahl, an experienced video analyst, will provide technical support to the team as the Video Analyst.
