The ongoing dispute between Communication Minister Sam George and former Ghana Post Managing Director Bice Osei Kuffour, also known as Obour, has taken a heated turn.

Obour recently called for restraint in the dismissal of workers, emphasizing that the recruitment process was lawful and properly documented.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, Obour insisted that all due processes were followed during the recruitment and suggested that if Minister George reviewed the submitted documents, he would reconsider his decision to dismiss the workers.

Obour appealed for the minister to show patience and go through the paperwork before making a final judgment.

In response, Minister Sam George expressed willingness to welcome Obour’s offer of assistance, but he made it clear that Obour’s focus should not be on the current recruitment matter but rather on his own past activities at Ghana Post.

George reminded Obour that he had more pressing matters to address, namely the alleged shady dealings during his tenure as MD of Ghana Post.

The communication minister hinted that Obour’s actions would soon come under intense scrutiny, and he advised the former Ghana Post head to be patient, as investigations into his past decisions were on the horizon.
