The continuous increase in fire casualties in Ghana is quite alarming making experts in the safety industry worried.

This came to light after a seminar organised by Kuo Fire safety in Accra to create awareness on improved and advanced methods of fighting fire.

Speaking to the multiple award winning journalist and owner of Guarantee Inc Media Group, Mr Tarek Marabe a pundit in fire management with many years of experience said technology has improved and therefore detection and prevention of fire in homes and businesses as well as corporate and industries will be reduced if people apply the right devices within their working environments.

Mr Tarek further encourage institution to make effective budget for prevention fire in modern buildings and homes as the weather condition here is fire friendly.

He indicated that more of such seminar would be replicated in other regions to sensitise the general public on fire safety and that Kuo Fire safety will continue to support Ghanaian homes and industries in this regard.

Mr George Michael the business development manager for FirePro systems who took participants through several stages of technologies used by developed countries in ensuring fire safety said the little things we ignored mostly at home’s and offices are the major cause of fire.

He questioned why people can put up multi million dollar infrastructure without thinking of any fire preventive measures.
