Fifi Kwetey tours Volta Region

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) General Secretary, Hon. Fiavi Fifi Kwetey, embarked on a tour of limited voter registration centres in the Volta Region on the final day of the exercise. He was accompanied by the Volta Regional Secretary, James Gunu, the Regional Vice Chairman, Mr. Egypt Kudoto, and other executives of the Volta Regional Branch of the party.

The tour aimed to mobilize eligible voters, gather information on the registration process and assess the region’s preparedness for the 2024 elections. Fifi Kwetey led the team to meet with Constituency Executive Committee members, parliamentary candidates, election directors and registration officials.

Mr. Fiavi who supported the exercise across the region with an undisclosed amount of cash encouraged party supporters to get more people to register on the final day. He emphasized the importance of voting.

Mr. James Gunu commended the constituencies efforts in mobilizing voters while the NDC General Secretary praised the region’s efforts and reiterated the party’s commitment to free, fair, and transparent elections. He assured that the party is physically and emotionally ready to rescue Ghanaians hence won’t relent in matching the NPP boot for boot in the December 7, 2024 polls.

Fifi Kwetey urged the Electoral Commission to ensure the integrity of the entire process, stressing that the NDC has no doubt that a free and fair election will see Mahama emerge victorious.

Members of his entourage also included Mr Bright Ege, Deputy Regional Secretary; Hon. Francis Seglah, Regional Director of Elections & IT and Hon. Johnson Samlafo, Deputy Regional Youth Organizer.
