The Director of Communications of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has assured Ghanaians that they will soon begin to enjoy uninterrupted supply of electricity.
Mr. Ahiagbah acknowledged that the power fluctuations in the country has become increasingly worrying. He however said, the situation is almost over as maintenance works are almost completed.
In a post he made on X (formerly Twitter), the politician said: “The recent power outages have been understandably frustrating. However, there is an end in sight. The maintenance works are almost complete, and we can soon expect access to an uninterrupted power supply around the clock….”
Ahiagbah further threw jabs at the opposition NDC, saying the party should not be talking about the power crisis in the country.
According to him, Ghanaians experienced the worst power crisis under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration.
“The NDC is the last political organization to point fingers because Ghana has not forgotten the hurts of the ‘real dumsor’ suffered under H.E. Mahama,” he wrote in is post.
