The Bono Regional Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has jumped to a strong defence of officers of the Ghana Police Service saying except the CID Boss, Tiwaa Addo Danquah, they deserve better.
The visibly angry youth leader in a statement copied Awake News has vented his venum on President Akufo-Addo drawing his attention to the fact that the Police Officers deserve better than what he described as his [The President] lazy 121 Ministers.
Efo Worlayno was reacting to the recent killing and physical attacks of Police Officers by some civilians and alleged armed robbers. The most recent is the killing of Female Police Officer at Tamale and two male Police Officers at Gomoa, Bujumbura.
According to him, “Since Nana Addo and his NPP took over, more than 200 police officers have been shot and killed, and over 600 are now deformed while performing their official duties”.
He went on to accuse the President and his administration of neglecting the uniform men adding that “the maltreatment of police officers under this government is new to the Ghana Police Service.”
Recounting some incidences, Efo said, “Kennedy Agyapong insulted, disgraced and humiliated a Regional Police Commander and call for him to be stripped naked in public and government could not call the dishonourable MP to order.”
“Senior Police Officers are beaten and dragged out of their offices by NPP invincible forces” but the government sat unconcerned.
He has also alleged that “Even Wontumi [The Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman] commands Ghana Police to protect his galamsey sites against their wish while the President was artificially fighting galamsey.”
Efo Worlanyo has intimated that “Ghana Police today is under seige and can’t also complain publicly.”
“It is sad to know that security has broken down under this government. For the first time, both the military and police are very angry because the government doesn’t care about their safety and welfare. No wonder a senior member of NPP warns of an imminent revolution in this country.” – He said
” Ghana Police has been moved from Cap 30 to SSNIT which will worsen their plight and that of their dependants. They deserve more than 4,500 bulletproof jackets.” – he fumes
For him, the only situation that the Police Officers become useful to the President is when he uses them to clear the government’s mess.
“Ghana Police today is being used as a tool to clear the government’s mess against their will.”

GHANA POLICE, EXCEPT TIWAA DESERVES BETTER THAN YOUR LAZY MINISTERS, MR PRESIDENT
Since Nana Addo and his NPP took over, more than 200 police officers have been shot and killed, and over 600 are now deformed while performing their official duties but neglected by Nana Addo and his government.
The maltreatment of police officers under this government is new to the Ghana police service.
1. Senior police officers are beaten and dragged out of their offices by NPP invincible forces.
2. Kennedy Agyapong insulted, disgraced and humiliated a Regional police commander and call for him to be stripped naked in public and government could not call the dishonourable MP to order.
3. Three Hundred Police Officers shot dead and over 700 left deformed while on duty in just two and half years under Nana Addo and NPP government looks unconcerned.
4. Ghana Police has been moved from Cap 30 to SSNIT which will worsen their plight and that of their dependants.
5. Ghana police today is being used as a tool to clear the government’s mess against their will.
6. Even Wontumi commands Ghana police to protect his galamsey sites against their wish while the President was artificially fighting galamsey.
Ghana Police today is under seige and can’t also complain publicly.
It is sad to know that security has broken down under this government. For the first time, both the military and police are very angry because the government doesn’t care about their safety and welfare.
Because the top hierarchy of Ghana police dines with government, they are not able to tell their bosses in government the truth about what their junior officers are going through.
The police officer today is not happy, they are hungry and feared for their lives while on duty.
No wonder a senior member of NPP warns of an imminent revolution in this country.
Prophet Nigel’s revelation showed clearly that if it was the days of old and with the treatment they are receiving from this government, there would have been an operation by the security which will be very popular among the Ghanaian populace. Though not yet, but our men in uniform are still watching from afar.
They deserve more than 4,500 bulletproof jackets.
Ghana Police deserves thousands of what the lazy ministers under this government are enjoying for no work done.
Speaking to some of them, they are patiently waiting to show their anger to this government come 2020.
It’s just a matter of time.
