John Mahama & Mzbel
Sultry Ghanaian musician, Mzbel is at it again but this time around she is full of praises for the immediate past President John Dramani Mahama.
Like seriously the joyous musician took to social media, Facebook to be précised and outlined the great works John Mahama has left behind for the current government.
She mentioned the projects started and completed by the erstwhile government including the Tema – Akosombo rail line- Financed by Indian ODA facility.
“Well done your Excellency ????
JM is out of office but still changing lives and transforming Ghana. His vision continues to unfold even though he is out of office. All is set for take off of the Tema – Akosombo rail line. Financed by Indian ODA facility. This line will transform use of the Volta Lake as a major transport channel for trans West African trade. Cargo bound for Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger will be transported by rail from Tema to Akosombo. The cargo will then be loaded on Volta Lake Transport barges and hauled by tug boats to Buipe in Northern Region.
From Buipe the importers from the landlocked countries can then clear and move their containers to their various countries.
India is proposing a 2nd phase to continue the line from Buipe to Paga and build a container terminal there. Nana Addo’s administration will do well to negotiate the additional funding for phase 2 which will transform Ghana’s Port traffic and enhance regional integration.”
