Ernest Fasemkye a product of Bishop Herman College (BIHECO) and Ho Technical University, wants to represent Sovie Kudzra Electoral Area.
Some of Ernest’s colleagues from school days who spoke to Awake News said they wish he could be given the opportunity to even go unopposed as they believe he has all it takes to firmly and effectively represent their community as the Assemblyman and help bring development to their community.
Sampson Anani the right-hand man of Ernest Fasemkye told Awake News, in an interview why he thinks the young man is the right person for the job,
”This young man deserves to be our Assemblyman because he has all the good qualities to lead us. Let me tell you why!!!!
1. Ernest Fasemkye has been in many leadership positions and has discharged his duties so diligently. He was a Senior Prefect (S.P) during his primary and JHS education at Kudzra and the became the SRC Rep and class secretary at Bishop Herman College between 2008 to 2012.
He again became the class Rep and a member of the SRC General Assembly at Ho Technical University between 2013 and 2015. He proceeded to become the SRC Finance Officer between 2015 to 2016 where he served on many committees including the Joint Negotiation Committee of the University, the sports committee, and the ICT Implementation Committee, he was also a member of the GNUTS Finance Committee and also chairman of the SRC Finance Committee.
During his national service period, he was the President of NASPA at the South Dayi District and also the Volta Regional Vice President between 2016 and 2017. At the NASPA level, due to his hard work, dedication, and commitment, he became a member of the National Council which was the highest decision making the body of the association after the G.A.
What a litany of achievement??? Wow!!!
2. The most important reason we should help this gentleman climb the leadership ladder by voting massively for him is that he has love and affection for humankind! He shares everything he has with whoever is in need… Can you imagine? As we speak, Ernest Fasemkye has adopted 3 brilliant but needy students from Kudzra ( 2 at JHS and 1 at Primary level) and he’s responsible for all their educational needs.
He has volunteered to renew NHIS cards for over 200 adults and children free of charge and has promised to continue doing this benevolent works as far as he can afford to do so…let’s pause cos the generosity of this young man is something I can’t talk about here…
3. As a young man, he’s full of energy and has the willpower to do the work of an assemblyman…
He is humble, respectful and tolerates the views of others to arrive at his decisions… The young man is born to be a true leader…
4. Ernest Fasemkye has gotten all the exposure due to the various roles he has played as a young Student Leader and Politician.
The job requires people who are truthful and trustworthy and I present to you just that.”
