Elvis Afriyie Ankrah tours limited voter registration centres in Ashanti Region

Former Director of Election for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has toured some limited voter registration centres in the Ashanti Region to monitor the ongoing exercise.

The former Sports Minister monitored the processes at some limited voter registration centres in the region and used the opportunity to offer his unflinching support party agents.

On the 19th of March, 2024, Hon. Afriyie Ankrah toured some centres including Manhyia North, Manhyia South, Subin, Nhyiaeso and Bantama to monitor the process.

During his tour, he interacted with the registrants before expressing appreciation to the NDC agents actively assisting with the registration procedures.

Afriyie Ankrah underscored the need to ensure a smooth and transparent process, asking all party agents to be firm and vigilant.

Mr Ankrah stressed that the electoral process is an all-inclusive journey. The 2012 NDC National Campaign Coordinator also highlighted the significance of the limited voter registration exercise, saying it is a step that should be taken seriously.

He added that having a credible voter register is an important forward match for the upcoming elections which he said the NDC would win without issues.

Afriyie Ankrah donated an undisclosed amount of money to the party executives of the various constituencies he toured, exhibiting his support for their work for the party.
